Assembly of Social Mobilization is an organized multi-cultural organization established in the year 2002 in the eastern coastal township of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.

Striving within ourselves as active social agents, we at Assembly of social mobilization have embarked and proved that social transformation can be realized and achieved only through active community participation and action.

Keeping our steadfast promises to fight poverty and social insecurity, committed to our shared vision to create a people’s order has always been our rational throughout our long march towards sustainability and social change.

As the rapidly changing scenarios on economical, social and political platforms both at national and international level, and the drastically changing biological perspective that keeps challenging our mission day to day, we have been pushed through the force of circumstances  to  redefine,  revisit  and  restructure  our  strategies  to  serve  the communities who best deserves our humanitarian support at times of distress and vulnerability.

While the never ending catastrophes, both man made and natural, have weakened our people and destroyed their resources, we seek to mobilize and empower them to stand again with ambition and commitment that can accomplish our dictum changing lives.
